Received this email at the weightlifting Online Magazine concerning the New Jersey State Senior Olympics;
We wish to add weightlifting to our event list.
I am hoping you will forward this and the following to any and all related organizations/clubs in NJ or close to it. On July 29 & 30 the NJ Senior Olympics and Arts and Crafts Exhibition will take place at the Atlantic City High School. We invite all of you and any comparable organizations to have a table in a premium location to promote who you are to all of the patrons, participants and media attending. Further, we are inviting all senior (over 50) artists, craftspeople and performers to exhibit their talent - again, for free.
We encourage you to let your members/contacts etc. know that they may exhibit for free. There is an inexpensive ($50/table) option for artists/craftspeople who wish to sell their works, opportunities for vendors ($250/table) and educators (some may come for free; depends on whether they charge their patrons or not). We anticipate heavy media coverage. We are seeking judges for arts and crafts categories and would be honored to have some of your contacts assist in that; please let me know if you are interested. The NJ Senior Olympics and NJ50Plus are conducting a PR campaign for at least a year in an effort to draw attention to our NJ senior talent which will be publicized and create much needed outreach to our 50+ population. Our ultimate goal is to increase the number of NJ seniors participating in their choice of artistic and other recreational clubs, organizations, etc. We will also be discussing how NJ50Plus can assist the organizations with free advertising, promotions and outreach in townships, across counties and across the state. More info is available on the NJ Senior Olympics website, www.NJSO.us.
Your participation in the events and having a promotional table will assist us greatly.
